We offer a wide range of floor screeding solutions to suit almost any application, including fast drying, free flowing and high strength screed systems, and we operate throughout the UK on projects large and small. With the versatility to provide floor screeding on any scale, Ultimate Screeding are the first choice for many construction companies operating today.

Our Standard Floor Screeding involves a typical sand and cement mix to British Standards, but this can be altered to meet specific requirements by the customer – and this flexibility allows our floor screeding to provide a base for a wide range of floor coverings or sealants. From linoleum, natural stone tiles or wood flooring, to high sheen paints and coatings, our floor screeding is ideal for industrial applications as well as retail, medical and educational use – and we use teams who are highly skilled and experienced in all aspects of floor screeding to ensure exceptional results every time.

Superior floor screeding is essential when you are sealing the floor as a final surface – and we mix all our screeds to very strict standards to ensure consistent quality and predictable drying times – allowing your building project to move forward on time.

For faster drying times we employ Ardex A 35 in place of regular Portland cement, with properties that can considerably reduce the drying time of any floor screeding. Hard enough to walk on after just three hours, and dry enough to receive floor coverings after only twenty-four hours – our fast drying screed is ideal for projects where floor screeding has to be completed within a specific time frame, or to minimise any disruption to an active workplace.

For larger areas, click through to our section on Free Flowing Screed Systems – one of the most popular forms of floor screeding – used in a wide range of commercial and domestic environments. From shopping centres and airports to hospitals and schools, free flowing floor screeding enables us to cover a large area in a short space of time, and due to its self-levelling ability and with no need to compact it, free flowing screed allows for a fast installation and turnaround in almost all cases.

STANDARD SCREED SYSTEMS

Standard Cement / Sand screeds mixed to BS8204:1, 2003 or as per customer specific requirements / desired properties. PP-Fibre or mesh reinforcement is added to ensure a high level of crack control.

FAST DRYING SCREED SYSTEMS

We offer a range of fast drying screeds and additives enabling us to always provide the best, cost efficient solution to suit any requirement.

HIGH STRENGTH SCREED SYSTEMS

High strength screed systems are used where heavy point loading and trafficking is anticipated as well as under-layments for polyurethane and resin flooring’s which require a high level of compressive and pull-off strength, ensuring that the screed is sound and can withstand high tensions in the initial drying period.

FREE FLOWING SCREED SYSTEMS

Free flowing screeds are used where large areas are to be screeded in a short period of time, speeding up the construction process. Providing a high level surface thanks to its self-levelling properties and allows to reduce the thickness of screed laid on insulation down to 35mm in Domestic and 40mm in Commercial environment.

LEVELLING COMPOUNDS

Self smoothing & self levelling compounds, pumped or hand mixed. Levelling compounds are commonly used to level the base slab prior to installation of final floorings or insulation systems as well as to achieve a higher level of flatness than provided by levelling screeds.

RESIN FLOORING / SEALERS / PAINTCOATS

Epoxy and polyurethane coatings are used where a high level of chemical or impact resistance is required in warehouses and industrial units to provide very durable wearing coarse with a minimum maintenance.
